Art Exhibition in Argeles

We visited the exhibition of paintings by Monique Combettes, “Couleurs de Charme” at the Galerie Marianne, Espace Liberte, Rue de 14 juillet, Argeles-sur-Mer. Fetes de l'Ours or the Bear Festivals

The Bear Festivals, (yes bear not beer!), or Fetes de l’ours are a tradition very specific to the region and take place annually in three local villages in the Vallespir: Arles sur Tech, Prats de Mollo and St Laurent de Cerdans. Travelling to Laroque des Alberes using Luton-Nimes flights

During the summer there are lots of flight options from the UK to the area. Perpignan nearest, then Carcassonne or Girona, Beziers, Montpellier, Barcelona, Toulouse….
